The X-Files: The Truth
(2002) - Chris Carter wrote this storyline to finish the popular show in spectacular
and quite dramatic fashion. Produced in two-part format, the BBC screened both episodes
together as feature-length closure for cult phenomenon, The X-Files. In the
climactic action scenes, two black helicopter gunships (Eurocopter AS-355 Twin Stars) firebomb
the cliffside site of some American indian sacred caves to destroy secret evidence
about the aliens. Another A-star chopper was used as the camera-ship, and there's a
Bell UH-1 Huey in the early sequence where hero FBI agent Mulder (David Duchovny) faces
the tribunal at a top secret military base.
