- one of the flying superhero's first appearances in this big budget adventure is when
he catches plucky reporter Lois Lane (Margot Kidder) in one hand, as she falls from the
rooftop of the Daily Planet office tower. Then, Superman (Christopher Reeve) catches
the damaged helicopter, which follows her down the side of the building, in his other
hand! Superman is concerned that our heroine should not be afraid of flying, but she
faints when he flies away...
